Toy Story 3 Cake

Sorry there hasn't been much postings lately. I have been extremely busy lately, just so many projects and no time to do them all in. I have been trying to finish my class, which I am very excited to say that I am almost done with. I have recently put in my notice at work!!! My last day will be September 3, and then I will be staying home with the boys! Lets just pray I can find a job doing medical coding from home!
I don't have much time, but I just wanted to share one of the projects I have been working on. This was a birthday cake for a friends little boy's birthday. He like most kids between the ages of 2 and 5 Love Toy Story. This cake is similar to the cake I made for my son Brody's birthday back in January, see here. I think this one turned out way better. I love the little wooden fence at the bottom and the moon on top that Buzz is standing on. SO CUTE! This one was easier to make too, maybe because I am getting better with fondant, or maybe because I have kind of already made this one before...not sure why...but I am okay with easier!
The birthday party was held at the Omniplex, and what a neat place to have a party. So much to see and do there. Brody would have loved it there, had he gone. He was at the lake with his dad. So Marak and I went, Marak had a blast, but I think he would have liked it a lot more if he was a bit older.
Hope you enjoy my latest creation!
